After the start of its assembly in February 2021 for a first segment, the Saint-Pérégrin hospital, located in Lomé (Togo), has its skeleton fully assembled. The obstacles linked to the pandemic have been overcome. And the third block is receiving the cladding that already covers the medical and imaging buildings.

At the same time, the teams have made progress on the assembly of the fourth block and the interior finishing touches. They are also implementing the special techniques for the medical and imaging buildings.

Altao, present from the start

Thanks to the know-how and experience of its multidisciplinary teams¹, Altao has been present since the launch of the project. Indeed, with the support of our engineering department, we assisted the CNSS in analyzing the care needs and the existing offer. In order to specify each component of the project (sizing, equipment, HR…) and to realize the business plan. The CNSS has also honored us by entrusting us with the entire AMO mission for the biomedical equipment and assistance in recruiting the management and medical teams.

A hospital with great ambitions

The Saint-Peregrin Hospital will be called “Dokta lafiè”. It is intended to become a reference hospital combining innovations and high quality services. This allows it to reach international standards at an affordable cost for the population. Among these innovations, we can cite its focus on outpatient care, with short-term hospitalizations covering medicine, surgery and maternity.
The whole is based on a high-level technical platform as well as an innovative information system and construction techniques. It is of course designed in a bioclimatic way and benefits, for example, from an advanced water management system allowing it to be autonomous without drilling.
